The Lodge “La Casa Grande” (The Big House) is in Jimena de la Frontera, an Andalusian white village, with a long history and immersed in the Natural Park of the Cork Oaks (Parque Natural de los Alcornocales), a forest of large diversity and whose heartbeat is the most beautiful that man can listen. Here we are at the south of Europe where Andalusia, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and Africa shake hands.

The current Jimena de la Frontera has been shaped by the centuries and by all those who have chosen this place to settle, Iberians, Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths and Muslims. From the first prehistoric settlements to the nowadays Jimena this village has passed through the times as the Roman town of Oba and the Islamic Xemina. Jimena is a true haven of relaxation for lovers of history and nature.

"La Casa Grande" is an ancient house located in the Historic-Artistic Jimena. It is an excellent example of traditional architecture. With the passage of time has been restored and refurbished

In addition the house has a library of English, Spanish and Norwegian literature. A large lounge with fireplace and a bar. We also have patios and terraces to enjoy the sun and the fresh air of this beautiful land.

Nearby you can find several bars, restaurants and a camping, where you can join in the locals and enjoy delicious homemade “tapas”.
